This unforgettable journey along the Colorado River will test you to the limit, as well as providing you with the opportunity to fully appreciate both the beauty and dynamism of the Grand Canyon.
You will need to make your own way from Las Vegas to the south Rim of the Grand Canyon to begin your trip with a night at one of the lodges available there because the first day begins with an early start. You must rise at 5am to beat the hottest temperatures of the day for your 10-mile hike into the depths of the canyon at Phantom Ranch where you will be allocated all the equipment that you need for the adventure ahead.
Each motorised rapids boat will comfortably sit up to 15 people and their gear, and the 3 day journey along the river features some of the most fearsome rapids in the world including the notorious Horn Creek, Granite Falls, Lava Falls, and Hermit.
Each day will include a mixture of hard and easy waters to navigate, and provide you with plenty of opportunities to take time out for hiking and sightseeing away from the river should you want to. You will sleep in a tent at night, and enjoy old-fashioned campfire entertainment provided by the tour guides along the way.
The final day of the trip includes a hosted lunch at the Bar 10 ranch before you are flown back to Las Vegas where you will appreciate the creature comforts of your hotel more than ever!
